MODELLING |
Usually, when the relationship between variables is not clear, many things can be unknown. This we believe is one area that is usually overlooked when trouble-shooting or optimizing plants.
We have the knowledge and tools to analyze any data and come up with understandable relationships between variables. This then enables us to apply the best method to control your process.
We use several packages including PIControl’s proprietary Apromon to monitor process and process control performance. We will review plant data to observe trends or changes that can hurt your bottom line.
We also utilize various software packages including PIControl’s PITOPS TFI to analyze data and come up with relationships between variables. These transfer functions or models are then used to understand the intricacies of the plant and to provide robust control solutions that are suitable for a wide operating range.
When developing transfer functions for a one, two or three input and one output problem, PITOPS TFI is your best solution. It can utilize past data to come up with the transfer function thereby saving engineering time and resources to perform step tests every time an identification needs to be made.
We utilize past data to determine inferential properties. We will develop inferential calculations that closely match your lab data and help build and implement these inferentials be it open-loop or closed-loop. Based on our ability to combine process experience with our controls strategies, our inferential calculations are usually fairly reliable.
We also utilize other third-party software that are geared towards modeling to solve your problems. |
